Mold Town Council received enough donations for Ukraine to fill three rooms and the building’s corridor in just three days.
Where possible, items were put in cardboard boxes donated by Smurfit Kappa for transport to the Polish distribution point in Wrexham.
Left over plastic bags were sorted by Councillor Andrea Mearns, who took reusable ones to Parkfields Community Centre; torn or flimsy ones were dropped at the soft plastic recycling point at Tesco.
