IN THE GARDEN

About 30% of your waste can be composted at home, including vegetable peelings, tea bags, garden prunings and paper.

There are several inspiring sources where you can learn about home composting. Flintshire County Council’s guidance is here [PDF] while a wide range of composting advice is available from Recycle Now.

In common with many other local authorities, Flintshire County Council Council also provides information about both its garden waste and food waste (‘Food Caddy’) collections.
