A campaign aimed at forcing pharmaceutical companies to fund the cost of recycling medicine blister packs is receiving support from across the UK.
Following the news that TerraCycle is closing its recycling scheme, a petition on change.org calls on pharmaceutical firms to accept their corporate responsibility for the plastic waste they are producing and to support recycling initiatives.
Among the companies listed are AstraZeneca, Bayer, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer.
