The Welsh Government has published a summary of responses to its recent consultation on the circular economy.
‘Beyond Recycling’ sought views on proposals to:
- move towards zero waste by 2050;
- scrutinise how resources are used;
- encourage the reuse, repair and remanufacture of products and materials; and
- maximise the economic and social opportunities of a more circular economy.
Some 1000 citizens and stakeholders submitted responses and/or attended events across Wales during the consultation, which ended on 24 April.
A summary of responses, and associated documents, is available at https://gov.wales/circular-economy-strategy.
