ECO-FRIENDLY DETERGENTS

If you’re looking for an eco-friendly washing up liquid or laundry detergent, then a new entry on the Moral Fibres blog will be of interest.

The problem of plastic packaging is highlighted (“When it comes to plastic, refusal, reduction, and reuse is clearly the only way.”) and the article also addresses the issues of polluting ingredients, carbon ratings and animal testing.

Bide, Greenscents and Bio-D are among smaller, less well-known brands listed as being eco-friendly, but if you’d rather not buy ready made products, there’s also a mention of making your own eco-friendly laundry powder and washing up liquid, plus a plug for soapnuts. The blog post is on the Moral Fibres website.
