NAKED TAKEAWAY GROWS

Thai Kitchen’s Paranya Mager

We’re delighted that the Thai Kitchen restaurant on Chester Street, Mold, has joined the Naked Takeaway scheme.

Customers now have the opportunity to get their takeaways in reusable aluminium tiffin tins, rather than single-use plastic.

Speaking to The Leader, Thai Kitchen’s Paranya Mager said that the tins “will help to reduce takeaway food packaging waste and will also reduce the cost to our business of buying single-use plastic containers.”

“Customers can just ask for their food in a Tiffin tin when they place their order,” she added, “and drop them back next time they come.”

Why not give it a go? And remember: by pledging to have a takeaway in a tiffin tin, you could help us achieve our Grand Week In Wales target of achieving 1000 plastic free pledges.
