At just one year old, Gethin Burt staked his claim to be Wales’ youngest litter picker, when he accompanied mum Hannah during the Grand Welsh Litter Pick.
“This is what happens when you have a baby that wakes early and you live on a street where I live, and you are mad enough to say ‘yes’ when I ask you to litter pick with me at 8am on a Sunday morning!” commented Mold Plastic Reduction co-founder Sarah Pratt.
Gethin and his mum were joined by Sarah and by Deb Speakman, who was reportedly waylaid while out for an early morning run and drafted in to help with the pick.
