A recent poll shows that half the people in Britain are keen to use less plastic in 2022.
Commissioned by Xampla, and reported in Circular Online, polling reveals that 73% of consumers would like to be able to buy food that isn’t wrapped in plastic, while 69% prefer using sustainable plastic alternatives rather than relying on recycling.
Based in Cambridge, Xampla has produced what it says is the world’s first commercially viable plant protein alternative to plastic.
