Mold-based Capacity Marketing, which is the driving force behind the Free Wills Month initiative, has pledged to reduce its plastic footprint.
Among the steps taken by the company are: using cardboard inners for padded envelopes; swapping plastic gift pens for a sugar-based alternative; and switching to toilet rolls delivered in paper packaging instead of plastic bags.
Speaking to The Leader, Katie Roberts of Capacity Marketing said the company is enthusiastic about finding more ways to reduce its consumption of plastic and hopes that its example will influence the 160-plus charities that it works with.
