Girls aged 8-18 years who attend a school in Flintshire can receive a range of reusable and disposable period products free of charge.
Funded by the Welsh Government, the Flintshire County Council scheme sees tampons, period pants, period cups and reusable pads made by Hey Girls delivered direct to girls’ homes.
The reusable products are made from sustainable materials including organic cotton and bamboo, while the disposable products are made from environmentally-friendly materials that will biodegrade.
