New figures show that 18 of 22 local authorities in Wales have exceeded the statutory minimum recycling target of 64%.
The overall national recycling rate was 65.4%, with 13 authorities increasing their performance in 2020-21 compared to the previous year.
Flintshire achieved 63.98%, so just missed the Welsh Government’s 64% target.
